Geraldo de Freitas and Gabriel Silva are no longer part of the UFC roster, per a report from Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting. Both of the Brazilian fighters now see their UFC runs come to an end following two consecutive losses.
De Freitas had a three-fight UFC run. While he picked up a win against Felipe Colares in his 2019 UFC debut, he went on to lose decisions to Chris Gutierrez and Tony Gravely.
Silva’s UFC career consisted of two fights. He entered the promotion in 2019 with an undefeated record of eight wins. After losing decisions to Ray Borg and Kyler Phillips, he finds himself out of the promotion.
