UFC’s roster has lost two fighters, as Jordan Espinosa and Shana Dobson have been released by the promotion. Damon Martin and Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting revealed the details of the releases in a recent report.
Both fighters depart the promotion after recent losses.
Espinosa took his second consecutive loss on March 6th, dropping a one-sided decision to Tim Elliott at UFC 259. Espinosa’s UFC run concludes with a record of two wins and four losses.
Dobson has been cut from the UFC roster after losing to newcomer Casey O’Neill in February. Dobson’s UFC record included two wins and four losses since she entered the promotion in 2017.
Dobson’s last win was a stoppage victory against Mariya Agapova in August. Dobson entered the fight as a steep underdog, hitting upwards of +800 to +900 on some gambling sites.
