Mandel Nallo will need a new opponent if he wants to compete at Bellator’s April 2nd card, as Keoni Diggs has withdrawn from their previously scheduled bout. News of the cancelled bout, which was thrown out for undisclosed reasons, comes from Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The fight was scheduled to take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
It is not known currently if Nallo will get a new opponent for his fight, which is now just over two weeks away.
Nallo was looking to return to the win column after two appearances in the cage that weren’t ideal. Returning after taking his first pro loss in 2019, Nallo’s bout against Saad Awad in October ended abruptly in the first round due to an unintentional groin strike.
Now out of the lineup, Diggs does not have the opportunity to continue his undefeated pro MMA run. Diggs’ current MMA career currently includes nine wins, two of which have come in the Bellator cage. His last fight was in September, where he submitted Derek Campos.
Bellator 255 is currently scheduled to be headlined by Bellator Featherweight Champion Patricio Pitbull and Emmanuel Sanchez.
