Experienced Chinese talent Rongzhu will make his UFC debut at UFC’s April 24th pay-per-view event, fighting Rodrigo Vargas in a lightweight bout. The matchup was first reported by MMA DNA.
The fight joins UFC 261, a pay-per-view event that is expected to happen at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, USA.
Rongzhu will be making his first UFC appearance after putting together an impressive 10-fight win streak that started in 2018. He last fought in January, where he picked up a win in a championship fight in regional promotion WLF.
Vargas will be looking for his first UFC win. He has lost his two previous bouts, dropping a decision to Alex da Silva and disqualifying himself from a fight against Brok Weaver due to an illegal knee.
