Welterweights Roman Faraldo and Trevor Gudde Matched For Bellator 255

Both returning after winning their Bellator debuts, Roman Faraldo and Trevor Gudde have been matched for the promotion’s April 2nd card. The welterweight matchup was confirmed by Nolan King of MMA Junkie on Tuesday.

The fight is scheduled to take place during the Bellator 255 prelims at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.

Faraldo had an explosive Bellator win in November, stopping Pat Casey with a flying knee in the second round of their fight. The win was the fourth in his pro career, with the other three prior appearances also not going the distance.

Gudde earned a stoppage win in his Bellator appearance last year as well, using strikes to stop Khonry Gracie in the third round of their fight.

Bellator 255 currently has featherweight champ Patricio Pitbull fighting in the main event against Emmanuel Sanchez. The card will be the promotion’s first on U.S. TV network Showtime.
