Returning after a strong UFC debut early in the year, Casey O’Neill will face Lara Procopio at UFC’s June 19th event, per a report from Mike Heck and Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
The new flyweight bout joins a UFC card that does not have a location attached to it currently.
O’Neill, an undefeated prospect, won her UFC debut last month with a two-round performance against Shana Dobson. Her entrance into the promotion came after a five-fight run on the regional scene.
Procopio will also be returning after picking up her first UFC win. The Brazilian talent earned a victory on a card last month, defeating Molly McCann via unanimous decision.
Procopio’s previous bout, her UFC debut in 2019, saw her lose a split decision to Karol Rosa. The bout was her first pro loss.
