Edmen Shahbazyan To Make Return Against Jack Hermansson At UFC 262

Attempting to bounce back from his first pro loss, Edmen Shahbazyan will fight Jack Hermansson at UFC’s May 15th pay-per-view event. The middleweight pairing was first reported by Manouk Akopyan of the LA Times.

The fight joins UFC 262, which is scheduled to happen at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA.

Shahbazyan took his first pro loss in August, getting finished in the third round of a fight by Derek Brunson. Prior to the loss, Shahbazyan put together four wins in the UFC, which included three first-round stoppage wins.

Hermansson was handed a loss in his last fight, dropping a five-round unanimous decision to Marvin Vettori in December. He was entering that bout with the momentum of a quick first-round submission against Kelvin Gastelum in the summer.
