Two new matchups have been recently reported for UFC’s June 5th “Fight Night” event. The fights join a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Francisco Trinaldo vs. Muslim Salikhov
Both riding win streaks, Francisco Trinaldo and Muslim Salikhov have been matched for the card, per a report from Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
Salikhov has won his last four fights. His last victory came in July, where he earned a split decision victory over Elizeu Zaleski.
Trinaldo has put together a three-fight winning streak in the past three years. His last victory saw him finish a fight, stopping Jai Herbert in the third round of a bout with punches.
Dusko Todorovic vs. Maki Pitolo
Returning after taking his first pro loss early this year, Dusko Todorovic will fight Maki Pitolo in June. The middleweight matchup was broken by Guilherme Cruz and Damon Martin of MMA Fighting first.
Todorovic was stopped in a January bout against Punahele Soriano, who caught him with punches late in the first round. The fight was Todorovic’s first pro loss in what was his 11th appearance as a pro and his second in a UFC octagon.
Pitolo is potentially in a must-win position in June, as he has lost his last three fights. He last appeared in February, where Julian Marquez submitted him with an anaconda choke.
