Undefeated heavyweight Alexander Romanov will get his third UFC bout at the promotion’s April 17th event, fighting Juan Espino on a “Fight Night” card.
The fight, which has been confirmed by both fighters on their separate Instagram accounts, is set to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Romanov has picked up two stoppage victories since entering the UFC roster last year. After submitting Roque Martinez in September with an arm triangle choke, Romanov returned in November to stop Marcos Rogerio de Lima within a round with a forearm choke.
Romanov’s entire 13-fight pro career comes all from stoppage wins.
Espino will attempt to earn his third UFC win in the fight. Espino picked up his last victory in September, submitting Jeff Hughes within a round. The bout was Espino’s first in nearly two years, as his prior bout was his UFC debut win against Justin Frazier.
