Three UFC Fighters To Make Return Following Extended Break on June 19th

Two new matchups have recently been reported for UFC’s June 19th “Fight Night” card. The fights join a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Silva and Glenn To End Breaks From Cage In June

Both making their return after extended periods outside of the cage, Joaquim Silva and Rick Glenn will compete at UFC’s June 19th event. The bout was confirmed first by Mike Heck of MMA Fighting.

Glenn, a six-fight UFC veteran, has been outside of the cage for over two years. His last bout was in November of 2018, where he lost a decision to Kevin Aguiar. He was scheduled to fight Carlton Minus on a card in December, although that fight was thrown out after Glenn withdrew.

Silva has not had as long of a break, as his last bout was in 2019. Similar to Glenn, he is coming off a loss, as in his last appearance he was stopped in the second round by Nasrat Haqparast.

Negumereanu Returns Against Camur Following 2019 UFC Debut Loss

Nicolae Negumereanu will compete in his second UFC bout in June, fighting Aleksa Camur in a light heavyweight matchup. The pairing was first reported by Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

Neugmereanu’s sole UFC loss was not an ideal appearance, stepping in on short notice and losing a bout to Saparbeg Safarov in 2019. The fight was his first pro loss after nine wins on the regional scene.

Camur is also coming back after taking his sole pro loss to date. He fought to scorecards in September, losing to William Knight in the end. Camur was successful in his UFC debut earlier in the year, defeating Justin Ledet.
