Tony Kelley And Trevin Jones Matched For July 24th UFC Card

Both coming back after winning their first official UFC bout, Tony Kelley and Trevin Jones will meet at the promotion’s July 24th event. News of the bantamweight was first reported by MMA Island earlier in the week.

The fight joins a lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Jones secured his first UFC win in March, stopping Mario Bautista early in the second round of their bout with strikes. Jones had a previous stoppage victory against Timur Valiev in 2020, although that upset win was later overturned to a no-contest due to Jones testing positive for marijuana in a test done by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Kelley earned his first UFC win in October, defeating Ali Alqaisi via unanimous decision. The bout came just two months after Kelley’s UFC debut, which was a loss to Kai Kamaka III on scorecards.

UFC’s July 24th event does not have a main event reported for it at the moment. Here is what has been covered thus far.

Bout 3: Aspen Ladd (9-1) vs. Macy Chiasson (7-1) (Bantamweight)

Bout 2: Maycee Barber (8-2) vs. Miranda Maverick (9-2) (Flyweight)

Bout 1: Trevin Jones (13-6) vs. Tony Kelley (7-2) (Bantamweight)
