PFL’s May 6th card has seen some major changes the week of the event. Among the changes are the restructuring of the broadcast format, with the prelims and main card being promoted to the main ESPN channel in the United States.
The event, which is set to be PFL’s third of six “regular season” events, will take place behind closed doors at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA.
The main card on Thursday has lost a fight, as 2019 PFL Heavyweight Champion Ali Isaev and Hatef Moeil have been pulled from the card. Taking their place on the main card will be heavyweights Mohammed Usman and Brandon Sayles, who were originally set to fight on the prelims.
The evening will begin at 5:30PM EDT, as PFL airs two fights on ESPN+. Along with the first of five lightweight bouts, a non-tournament fight at welterweight between Magomed Umalatov and Kyron Bowen will also be on the card, as confirmed by Scott Fontana on Wednesday.
After two fights, the card will move to ESPN and ESPN+ at 7:00PM EDT for four bouts. Two hours later, a four-fight main card will begin at 9:00PM EDT on ESPN.
