Felicia Spencer has been given a new opponent for her May 22nd UFC booking, now being paired against Norma Dumont. The change in opponent was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
The new matchup joins a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Spencer was originally scheduled to fight UFC newcomer Danyelle Wolf, although she was given a new opponent after Wolf withdrew from the bout.
Spencer will be getting her first fight after losing a fight to UFC Featherweight Champion Amanda Nunes in June of 2020. The pay-per-view headlining fight saw Nunes dominate, although it also showed Spencer’s toughness through five rounds.
Spencer had previously won two fights in the UFC, with her other loss being against current Bellator champ Cris Cyborg.
Dumont returned to the win column in November, defeating Ashlee Evans-Smith in a bantamweight bout. She missed weight for the fight, coming in three-and-a-half pounds over the non-championship bantamweight limit.
