UFC’s August 7th pay-per-view card has received another bantamweight bout, as Drako Rodriguez has been booked against Vince Morales. News of the matchup was first reported by Farah Hannoun and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The matchup will take place at UFC 265, which does not have a confirmed location currently.
Rodriguez will be looking for his first victory since joining the UFC. He lost his promotional debut in February, getting stopped within a round by Aiemann Zahabi.
Rodriguez earned his UFC contract with a submission win on “Dana White’s Contender Series” last year.
Morales enters Saturday on a two-fight skid. He was stopped in the second round of his last fight by Chris Gutierrez, who handed Morales his third loss in four appearances.
The only other fight that has been reported for UFC 265 is a fight between UFC Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena.
