Aleksei Oleinik To Face Rising Heavyweight Serghei Spivac At June 19th UFC Card

A heavyweight matchup between Aleksei Oleinik and Serghei Spivac has been booked for UFC’s June 19th card, as first reported by Vestnik MMA.

The pairing between a veteran and rising contender joins a lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Oleinik has been in search of his 60th pro MMA win for the past year. While wins in 2020 over Maurice Greene and Fabricio Werdum made it seem like his landmark victory would quickly arrive, his momentum has been recently stopped in fights against Derrick Lewis and Chris Daukaus.

Oleinik is now facing Spivac, who will enter the fight with a fair bit of momentum. Spivac is currently on a two-fight win streak, which came through a decision win over Carlos Felipe and a stoppage victory over Jared Vanderaa.
