Rising flyweight Manon Fiorot will get her second test in the UFC when facing Maryna Moroz on June 5th. News of the new matchup was confirmed by UFC after first being reported by La Sueur last month.
The matchup is now part of a lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Fiorot is riding the momentum of a strong UFC debut earlier this year. After putting together wins in notable promotions EFC Worldwide and UAE Warriors, Fiorot joined the UFC roster in 2021.
Fiorot’s UFC debut saw her score a stoppage victory, finishing former Invicta FC fighter Victoria Leonardo in the second round with strikes. The bout was also Leonardo’s UFC debut.
She now fights an experienced fighter in Moroz who has competed in the UFC since 2015.
Moroz is currently on a two-fight win streak, having defeated Sabina Mazo and Marya Bueno Silva in recent years.
