Injury Forces Alessio Di Chirico Out of June 5th Fight Against Roman Dolidze

A fight between Alessio Di Chirico and Roman Dolidze won’t take place on June 5th, as confirmed by Alexander K. Lee and Mike Heck of MMA Fighting.

Di Chirico was removed from the lineup due to injury. Per the report, the plan is to move the fight to a different date instead of keeping Dolidze on the card with a new opponent.

The fight was set to take place on a UFC “Fight Night” card at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Di Chirico snapped a three-fight skid in his last appearance, stopping Joaquin Buckley with a head kick in January.

Dolidze took his first pro loss in March, losing on scorecards to Trevin Giles. He had two UFC wins before then.

A heavyweight main event between Jairzinho Rozenstruick and Augusto Sakai is still set to headline UFC’s June 5th card.
