Bethe Correia’s final MMA fight is set to happen against Karol Rosa at UFC’s October 2nd event, per a report from Marcelo Barone and Raphael Marinho of Combate.
The bantamweight matchup joins a UFC card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Correia was first set to have her retirement fight against Wu Yanan in January, although she had to later be pulled from that fight due to an emergency appendix removal.
Following the successful surgery, Correia planned to make her 18th walk to the cage her last.
Correia has fought as a pro since 2012 and has competed in the UFC for over seven years. The former title challenger has a promotional record of five wins, five losses and one draw.
She has a tough challenge in her last fight, as she faces a fighter who has yet to lose in the UFC.
Rosa has earned three wins since joining the UFC roster in 2019. She last competed in February, where she defeated Joselyne Edwards via unanimous decision.
Light heavyweights Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker are currently set to headline UFC’s October 2nd card. Here is the updated lineup.
Bout 3: Thiago Santos (21-9) vs. Johnny Walker (18-5) (Light Heavyweight)
Bout 2: Joe Solecki (11-2) vs. Jared Gordon (17-4) (Lightweight)
