Former Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion Paddy Pimblett will make his UFC debut against Luigi Vendramini on the September 4th card, per a report from Marcelo Barone of Combate.
The anticipated promotional debut of Pimblett joins a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Pimblett has been a regular in European MMA promotion Cage Warriors since 2013, becoming a fan favourite under their banner. The peak of his run in the promotion was in 2016 when he claimed their 145-pound belt.
Pimblett, 26, is making the move to UFC after putting together a record of 11 wins and three losses in Cage Warriors. He has won his last two fights, including a first-round rear naked choke win over Davide Martinez from March this year.
Vendramini will be fighting to earn his second win in the UFC. He scored his first win in the promotion last year, stopping Jessin Ayari in the second round of a fight. The bout was his first appearance since 2018.
Vendramini has since taken a loss to Fares Ziam via majority decision this year.
