UFC’s July 24th card lost a co-main event fight on Thursday as it was announced by the promotion that Macy Chiasson and Aspen Ladd were scratched from the lineup.
The fight departed the card due to Chiasson suffering an injury, per a report from Nolan King and John Morgan of MMA Junkie.
The fight was set to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Ladd was looking to make her first appearance since 2019. She was sidelined for the majority of 2020 after suffering a torn ACL and MCL.
Chiasson was looking to build off a recent two-fight winning streak.
Saturday’s UFC “Fight Night” card now has 11 fights in total. The card is set to be headlined by bantamweights Cory Sandhagen and returning former champ TJ Dillashaw.
