A heavyweight clash between Walt Harris and Tai Tuivasa is expected to take place at UFC’s October 30th pay-per-view card, per a report from Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
The fight joins a card that is reportedly being scheduled to take place on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
News of Tuivasa’s newest matchup comes only weeks after he scored his last victory, stopping Greg Hardy in just over a minute at UFC 264.
The victory extended Tuivasa’s win streak to three consecutive over the past year. This promotional record currently stands at six wins through nine appearances.
Harris finds himself in a potential must-win position in October, as he will be looking to snap a three-fight losing streak.
Harris’ losses have come against big names in the heavyweight division, including Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov.
He last competed in June, where Marcin Tybura stopped him within a round with strikes.
