Rising flyweight Amanda Lemos will attempt to continue her win streak when fighting Nina Nunes at UFC’s December 18th event.
The new booking was first reported by Raphael Marinho of Combate. The matchup is the first to be reported for that date.
Lemos has amassed a strong four-fight win streak since 2019, making her one of the names to look out for at 125-pounds currently. She has earned two wins this year, finishing both Livinha Souza and Montserrat Conejo within a round.
Nunes comes into the late-2021 matchup on a two-fight losing streak. She lost her return to the cage in April, getting submitted within a round by Mackenzie Dern.
The bout was her first appearance following maternity leave, and was fighting seven months after giving birth. Prior to her absence due to maternity leave, Nunes had a promotional record of four wins and three losses.
