UFC veterans Niko Price and Alex Oliveira are scheduled to meet at UFC’s October 2nd event, per a report from John Morgan of MMA Junkie.
The booking is an important one for both fighters, as they will be looking to return to the win column after getting unsatisfying results in recent outings. The location for the matchup is not known at the moment.
Price’s last three fights have resulted in two losses and a no contest. He most recently dropped a unanimous decision to Michel Pereira in July.
His previous bout, a three-round fight against Donald Cerrone, was first ruled a draw but later overturned to a no contest due to a drug test on Price detecting marijuana.
A loss in October would not only put Price on his first-ever two-fight losing streak but be the first time he would go winless in three consecutive appearances.
Oliveira will look to avoid slipping into a three-fight streak of losses.
