Undefeated flyweight Casey O’Neill will look to pick up her third UFC win when facing Antonina Shevchenko at the promotion’s October 2nd “Fight Night” event. The matchup was first reported earlier this week by Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA.
The fight joins a card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
O’Neill has earned two finish wins since joining the UFC roster earlier this year. After earning a ground and pound finish win against Shana Dobson in February, O’Neill came back in June to submit Lara Procopio.
O’Neill has put together an undefeated seven-fight record since turning pro in 2019.
Shevchenko will be attempting to bounce back from a submission loss she took against Andrea Lee in May. The 36-year-old flyweight has won two of her last five bouts.
