Undefeated welterweight Sean Brady now has a new fight lined up, as he is expected to face Micheal Chiesa at UFC’s November 20th event. Brett Okamoto of ESPN reported the matchup first.
The fight joins a card that does not have a confirmed location currently.
Brady has had bad luck with getting a fight recently, with two recent renditions of a bout against Kevin Lee falling through for various reasons. His last appearance was in March, where he submitted Jake Matthews in the third round of a fight with an arm triangle choke. The appearance was his fourth win since joining the UFC in 2019.
Chiesa will be attempting to bounce back from a recent first-round submission loss that he suffered to Vicente Luque. The fight snapped a four-fight winning streak that he had built up, which included a five-round decision victory against Neil Magny earlier this year.
The main event for UFC’s November 20th card is not known at the moment. Here’s how the card looks:
Bout 4: Joanne Calderwood (15-6) vs. Alexa Grasso (13-3) (Flyweight)
Bout 3: Cheyanne Buys (6-2) vs. Loma Lookboonmee (6-2) (Strawweight)
Bout 2: Terrance McKinney (11-3) vs. Fares Ziam (12-3) (Lightweight)
Bout 1: Michael Chiesa (17-5) vs. Sean Brady (14-0) (Welterweight)
