Rising featherweight Choi Seung-woo will get a tough test next month, facing veteran Alex Caceres at UFC’s October 23rd event. News of the matchup was confirmed recently by MMA Junkie.
The fight joins a lineup that does not have a confirmed location currently.
Choi has had a strong 2021, picking up a decision win against Youssef Zalal and a first-round stoppage victory over Julian Erosa.
The two appearances earlier this year marked his return to the cage, as he had not competed throughout 2020. In total, Choi is currently on a three-fight winning streak.
Caceres also has a significant amount of momentum currently, riding a four-fight winning streak that has been developing since 2019. He went to scorecards against fellow vet Kevin Croom early this year, picking up a unanimous decision win.
