Adrian Yanez vs. Davey Grant Set For November 20th UFC Card

Attempting to continue what has been an explosive run in the UFC thus far, Adrian Yanez will meet Davey Grant at the promotion’s November 20th event. News of the bantamweight pairing was first reported by Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes.

The matchup joins a “Fight Night” card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.

Yanez had an explosive rookie year in the UFC, using his striking skills to pick up three stoppage victories. The most recent of the trio was in July, where he finished Randy Costa in the second round of action.

When including wins he attained before joining the promotion, Yanez is currently on a strong seven-fight win streak. His last loss dates back to 2018, where now-UFC fighter Miles Johns defeated him.

Grant is coming back after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Marlon Vera in June. The fight broke a streak of momentum he had built in the UFC, as he scored three wins from 2019 to early 2021.

The matchup joins a card that doesn’t have a main event confirmed at the moment.
