Lead Card (6:30AM EDT / 6:30PM SGT) (Bleacher Report App / Youtube)

Bout 1: James Yang (0-0) vs. Roel Rosauro (5-3) (155 lbs) (MMA Bout)

ONE’s prelims will kick off with a pro debut in MMA. Competing for the first time as a pro, James Yang will meet Roel Rosauro.

Yang is switching to professional MMA after an undefeated amateur run, per database Tapology.

Rosauro will be coming back for his fourth appearance in ONE. His last appearance, an early 2020 bout, saw him defeat Yohan Mulia Legowo to snap a two-fight losing streak and score his first win in the promotion.

Bout 2: Petchtatong Banchamek vs. Zhang ChengLong (145 lbs) (Kickboxing Bout)

Searching for his first win in ONE, kickboxer Petchtatong Banchamek will week promotional vet Zhang ChengLong on the prelims.

Petchtatong lost his ONE debut last year, getting stopped in just six seconds by Capitan Petchyindee Academy. The bout was his first appearance in the promotion, having just made the move over from kickboxing promotion Wu Lin Feng.

Zhang will be looking to snap a three-fight losing streak that has developed for him in ONE recently. The streak includes two fights against Hiroki Akimoto, with the most recent being in February of this year.

Bout 3: Marcus Buchecha (0-0) vs. Anderson Braddock Silva (3-1) (265 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Grappling ace Marcus Buchecha will make his MMA debut on Friday when facing Anderson Braddock Silva. Buchecha was originally set to face Thomas Narmo but was given Silva on short notice.

Buchecha has an incredibly decorated grappling record that includes medals in ADCC and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship contests. He has competed at a high level for a decade and is moving to MMA at 31 years old.

The fight on Friday is a true style matchup, as Silva comes from a striking background. He has only competed in ONE’s kickboxing division prior to Friday, although he has a small MMA record of three wins and one loss.

Bout 4: Petchdam Gaiyanghadao vs. Taiki Naito (135 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)

Returning to ONE for the first time in a year, Petchdam Gaiyanghadao will face Taiki Naito.

Petchdam made his last ONE appearance in July last year, fighting five rounds against Rodtang Jitmuangnon and losing a majority decision in their title fight. He has stayed active in Muay Thai since then, picking up two wins and a loss in Thailand.

Naito has been active in ONE since joining the promotion in 2019. He is currently riding the momentum of a win he earned over Wang Wenfeng in May.

Bout 5: Lito Adiwang (12-3) vs. Hexigetu (9-4) (125 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Flyweights Lito Adiwang and Hexigetu will conclude the five-fight prelims on Friday. This match was first scheduled to happen in January but is now finally coming to fruition in the fall.

Adiwang has competed under the ONE banner since 2018. After scoring three consecutive wins in the promotion’s “Warrior Series,” he was called up to a flagship card in 2019. He has won three of his four appearances since then, including a stoppage victory he scored against DEEP Strawweight Champion Namiki Kawahara early this year.

Hexigetu is currently on a strong three-fight winning streak in ONE. He last fought in nearly a year ago, defeating Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysiricho via decision.

Main Card (8:30AM EDT / 8:30PM SGT) (Bleacher Report App / Youtube)

Bout 6: Victoria Lee (2-0) vs. Victoria Souza (5-0) (115 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Victoria Lee will get a tough test to open the main card, facing fellow undefeated fighter Victoria Souza.

Lee, 17, is a prospect being built up by ONE. She is a sister to promotional champs Angela and Christian Lee – the latter competing later on this show.

She won her pro debut in February, submitting Sunisa Srisen in the second round with a rear naked choke. She returned in July, putting away Wang Luping within a round with an armbar.

Souza is entering ONE is a solid record. She has fought as a pro since early 2020, with four of her five pro wins coming via first-round stoppage. While her record is impressive, it’s worth noting that all of her opponents were making their pro debut.

Bout 7: Amir Aliakbari (10-2) vs. Anatoly Malykhin (9-0) (265 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Undefeated heavyweight Anatoly Malykhin will look for his second win in ONE on Friday, meeting Amir Aliakbari on the main card.

Malykhin had a dominant ONE debut in February, stopping Alexandre Machado within a round with strikes. The fight extended his flawless record of nine wins, which first started developing back in 2016.

On that same card, Aliakbari lost his ONE debut in the main event to Kang Ji Won, who stopped him in the second minute of action with punches. He was entering the promotion on a five-fight winning streak. On Friday, he has a chance to turn things around in Singapore.

Bout 8: Martin Nguyen (13-4) vs. Kim Jae Woong (11-4) (155 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Attempting to bounce back from losing a title fight, former ONE Champion Martin Nguyen will battle against Kim Jae Woong.

Nguyen was ONE Championship’s 155-pound champ for a long time, having held the belt from 2017 to 2020. After defending it successfully three times, he dropped the title last year to Thanh Le. His appearance on Friday will be his first time competing since then.

The fight will be Kim’s biggest matchup since joining the ONE roster in late 2019. Kim has produced explosive fights in the cage, with his two wins and one loss all being finishes. His last fight was in late 2020, where he stopped veteran Tetsuya Yamada in the second round with strikes.

Bout 9: Joshua Pacio (19-3) vs. Yosuke Saruta (21-9-3) (ONE MMA Strawweight Championship) (125 lbs)

In the first of three title fights on this card, ONE Champion Joshua Pacio and Yosuke Saruta will have their trilogy fight.

The matchup will be picking up a rivalry that kicked off in 2019. Things first started in early 2019 when Saruta dethroned Pacio as champ, taking a close split decision victory over him.

They fought again just four months later, although that time Pacio got the best of the fight. Pacio was able to finish the fight in that instance, putting away Saruta in the fourth round with knees.

Pacio has retained his belt twice since then, defeating Rene Catalan and Alex Silva. The fight on Friday will be his first appearance since early 2020.

Saruta has also gone undefeated since their rivalry was evened. Along with a stoppage victory he scored over Daichi Kitakata in 2019, Saruta recently earned a win over Yoshitaka Naito on a “Road to ONE” show in Japan.

Bout 10: Capitan Petchyindee Academy vs. Mehdi Zatout (ONE Kickboxing Bantamweight Championship) (145 lbs)

Attempting to defend his ONE Kickboxing Championship for the first time, Capitan Petchyindee Academy will meet Mehdi Zatout in the co-main event.

Capitan dethroned inaugural 145-pound kickboxing champ Alaverdi Ramazanov early this year, closing out a dominant performance in the second round. The fight was only Capitan’s second appearance in ONE, with his previous being an incredibly fast six-second victory over Petchtanong Banchamek.

Capitan has remained active outside of ONE as well, having fought a Muay Thai bout in March.

A current two-fight run for Zatout has put him in the title picture. The 38-year-old striker had a bad start to his ONE career in 2018, losing two consecutive fights. He has turned things around since returning last year, defeating Han Zihao and Leo Pinto via decision.

Bout 11: Christian Lee (15-3) vs. Ok Rae Yoon (15-3) (ONE MMA Lightweight Championship) (170 lbs)

Attempting to continue his red-hot run over the past few years, ONE Lightweight Champion Christian Lee will fight Ok Rae Yoon in the main event of Friday’s card.

Lee has been unstoppable since 2018. He is currently on a six-fight winning streak which includes five finish wins. He became ONE’s 170-pound champ in 2019, defeating Shinya Aoki to take the belt. He has since defended it twice, picking up victories over Iuri Lapicus and Timofey Nastyukhin.

With his last two victories coming via first-round stoppage, some might view the fight with an expectation for something big to happen.

Ok has been placed in the title challenger position after a quick, yet successful run in ONE. He first made his promotional debut as part of ONE’s TNT series earlier this year, defeating former champ Marat Gafurov. He followed that up shortly after with a victory over former UFC champ Eddie Alvarez. These two high-profile victories put him next in line for a title shot.
