Mateusz Gamrot To Face Diego Ferreria At UFC’s December 18th ‘Fight Night’ Card

Former KSW Lightweight Champion Mateusz Gamrot will look for another win over a veteran when facing Diego Ferreira at UFC’s December 18th card. News of the bout was reported by Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie on Tuesday.

The pairing joins a card that is set to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Gamrot picked up his second UFC win in July, stopping experienced fighter Jeremy Stephens in just the second minute with a kimura submission. His previous fight was a stoppage victory, finishing Scott Holtzman with second-round strikes in April.

Ferreira, a 12-fight UFC vet, will be trying to break a two-fight skid. His losses earlier this year have come against fellow experienced lightweights, dropping bouts to Beneil Dariush and Gregor Gillespie.

Before the losing streak, Ferreira had a strong six-fight winning streak.

UFC’s final event of the year is currently set to be headlined by heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Chris Daukaus. Here is how the show looks at the moment:
