Shane O’Shea Out of Bellator 271 Bout Against Jordan Newman

Bellator’s November 12th card lost a bout on weigh-in day, as Shane O’Shea was pulled from his middleweight fight against Jordan Newman.

O’Shea didn’t make weight for his bout due to undisclosed reasons, per a report from MMA Junkie.

The fight was set to happen on Friday’s preliminary card at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA.

O’Shea was scheduled to have his Bellator debut. His last fight was in July, where Bruno Assis submitted him within a round in a Titan FC title fight.

Newman was attempting to earn his fourth pro win with the appearance.

Bellator 271 now has 11 bouts in total. The main event is currently set to take place between Bellator Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg and Sinead Kavanagh.
