Azamat Murzakanov’s UFC debut is set once again. The undefeated light heavyweight is expected to meet Philipe Lins at the promotion’s December 4th event, per a report from VestnikMMA.
The matchup joins a card that is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Murzakanov secured a UFC contract in late August, scoring a first-round stoppage win over Matheus Sheffel on the TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series.”
He was originally set to make his UFC debut in November against Marcin Prachnio, but that fight was later scrapped.
Lins will be fighting for his first UFC win. The 2019 PFL Heavyweight Champion has lost two bouts since joining the promotion, having dropped fights against Andrei Arlovski and Tanner Boser.
Lins has struggled to find a bout since 2020, as five bouts have reportedly fallen through since November 2020.
UFC’s December 4th card is set to be headlined by bantamweights Rob Font and Jose Aldo. Here is how the card looks now:
