Ranked Middleweights Jack Hermansson and Sean Strickland Set To Headline February 5th UFC Event

Ranked middleweights Jack Hermansson and Sean Strickland are expected to headline UFC’s February 5th event, per a report from Brett Okamoto of ESPN.

The fight will be the main event of a card that doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.

Hermansson and Strickland are currently placed sixth and seventh respectively on UFC’s official middleweight rankings as of Friday.

Strickland has attained a strong four-fight winning streak since returning in late 2020. He was successful in his first UFC main event bout in July, going five rounds against Uriah Hall for a unanimous decision victory.

Prior wins in Strickland’s run have come against names like Krzysztof Jotko and Brendan Allen.

Before then, Hermansson went five rounds against Marvin Vettori for a decision loss in late 2020.
