UFC Releases Impa Kasanganay Following Four-Fight Run

Impa Kasanganay’s UFC run has come to an end after four fights. The promotion reportedly released him recently, per a report from Damon Martin and Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.

Kasanganay’s UFC run has concluded after earning two wins and two losses.

Kasanganay joined the UFC roster last year after a strong performance on TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series.”

He won his UFC debut last year, defeating Maki Pitolo via unanimous decision. He took his first UFC loss two months later, suffering a viral knockout loss to Joaquin Buckley.

After bouncing back with a submission victory over Sasha Palantikov in April, Kasanganay’s final UFC bout was a first-round stoppage loss to Carlston Harris in September.
