ONE Championship will kick off their 2022 schedule on Friday morning with an eight-fight “Heavy Hitters” card. The event was scheduled to be a much longer 12 fights, although COVID-19 protocols forced the event to change dramatically earlier in the week.

In the main event of Friday’s card, dominant champion Xiong Jing Nan will face Pancrase veteran Ayaka Miura.

Bout 1: Shuya Kamikubo (11-1-1) vs. Tory Worthen (7-2) (145 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Troy Worthen will attempt to break a two-fight skid in the opening bout, facing Shuya Kamikubo.

Worthen was previously an undefeated MMA fighter with seven wins. However, since late 2020 he has taken two losses. His last defeat came against former UFC fighter John Lineker, who stopped him within a round in 2021.

Kamikubo is currently on a strong run in ONE Championship that includes five wins. He extended that streak last year with a submission win, submitting Mitchell Chamale with a rear naked choke.

Bout 2: Tiffany Teo (9-2) vs. Meng Bo (17-5) (125 lbs) (MMA Bout)

The short two-fight prelims will wrap up with a fight between Tiffany Teo and Meng Bo.

Meng is moving up a weight class for this fight. She recently fought in ONE Championship’s 115-pound tournament, where Ritu Phogat defeated her in the quarter-finals. She had three wins in ONE before then.

Teo lost a title fight to Xiong Jing Nan in October of 2020, going five rounds before losing via unanimous decision.

Main Card (7:30AM EST / 8:30PM SGT) (Bleacher Report App / Youtube)

Bout 3: Beybulat Isaev vs. Giannis Stoforidis (225 lbs) (Kickboxing Bout)

In what is now the sole kickboxing fight on the card, Beybulat Isaev will fight Giannis Stoforidis.

Stoforidis will be making his ONE debut in the fight. He has previously competed in notable kickboxing promotions SuperKombat and GLORY Kickboxing.

Isaev is coming off a successful 2021 that saw him score two wins. After stopping Mihajlo Kecojevic in January, he came back late in the year to defeat Bogdan Stoica on scorecards.

Bout 4: Senzo Ikeda (12-6-1) vs. Elipitua Siregar (4-1) (125 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Flyweights Senzo Ikeda and Elipitua Siregar will meet on Friday’s ONE card.

These two were paired up after their prior bookings on the card fell through. Ikeda was set to face Jeremy Miado, and Siregar was lower on the card fighting Robin Catalan.

Siregar’s five previous fights as a pro have all taken place in ONE. He has been out of the cage for quite some time, as he last fought in October 2019, defeating Egi Rozten. That win put him back into the win column after his sole loss.

Ikeda last competed in late 2020, snapping a two-fight skid with Liang Hui for his first ONE victory.

Bout 5: Supergirl Jaroonsak Muaythai vs. Ekaterina Vandaryeva (125 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)

Supergirl Jaroonsak Muaythai will make her return to action against Ekaterina Vandaryeva in a Muay Thai bout.

Supergirl had a dominant ONE debut in September 2020, defeating Milagros Lopez in just a minute with strikes.

Vandaryeva has fought twice before in ONE but has yet to win in the promotion. Her last fight came against Jackie Buntan, who beat her in a majority decision result.

Bout 6: James Nakashima (12-2) vs. Saygid Izagakhmaev (19-2) (170 lbs) (MMA Bout)

Former title challenger James Nakashima will look to break a losing streak when meeting ONE newcomer Saygid Izagakhmaev.

Nakashima is returning to the cage after a year outside of the action. In a recent interview with Knockdown News, Nakashima described how he took the year off to focus on bettering his skillset.

Nakashima lost a title fight in November 2020, getting stopped in the fourth round of a bout against Kiamrian Abbasov. That was his first-ever time losing a fight. Two months later, he took a sudden submission loss to veteran Shinya Aoki via rear naked choke.

Izagakhmaev is entering ONE with a strong pro record of 19 wins and just two losses. He three times in Eagle FC last year, taking a loss in January 2021 then coming back to earn two submission wins.

Bout 7: Saemapetch Fairtex vs. Tawanchai P.K.Saenchaimuaythaigym (145 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)

Muay Thai specialists Saemapetch Fairtex and Tawanchai P.K.Saenchaimuaythaigym will square off in the co-main event. Both featherweights are coming off a recent loss in ONE Championship.

Tawanchai took his first promotional loss in August, dropping a split decision to Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong. His ONE debut came three months prior when he finished Sean Clancy in the third round with strikes.

Saemapetch had a two-fight winning streak snapped in the main event of a card late last year, as a doctor stoppage forced him out of a fight against Rittewada Petchyindee Academy in the second round.

Bout 8: Xiong Jing Nan (16-2) vs. Ayaka Miura (11-3) (ONE MMA Strawweight Championship) (125 lbs)

Xiong Jing Nan will attempt to keep her long winning streak alive on Friday when facing Ayaka Miura in the main event of the show.

Xiong first earned the belt in 2018, stopping Tiffany Teo with punches. She has since defended the belt five times through the years, including a win she earned in the fall against Michelle Nicolini. Her sole loss since joining ONE was in 2019 when she dropped a title fight to 115-pound champ Angela Lee.

Miura has been on the ONE roster since 2019. She has been a submission specialist in her fights, earning all four of her wins in the promotion via the Americana hold. She bounced back from her sole professional loss in May, defeating Rayane Bastos in the first round.

The former Pancrase fighter now has a chance to end one of ONE’s longest championship reigns in Friday’s main event.
