The field is set for PFL’s third week of the “Challenger Series.” Lightweight women will fight for a spot on the regular season roster on March 4th, with just one of them walking away with a contract.
The lineup revealed Tuesday provides a roster of fighters with varying degrees of experience.
Freestyle wrestler Cynthia Vescan will make her pro debut on the card. The 29-year-old has competed in the European Championships for wrestling twice, coming up with a bronze medal each time. Vescan was first set to make her debut during the PFL season last year, although that fight never happened.
In another debut, collegiate wrestler Jackie Cataline Surber will compete on the card. Her background includes being a Pan-American Champion and seven years on the U.S. national team. She announced her retirement from wrestling last year.
Undefeated fighter Julia Dorny will appear on the card, attempting to earn her third victory. She earned two wins in her rookie year as a pro, stopping both opponents with strikes in 2019.
Similarly, undefeated two-fight pro Jacqueline Cavalcanti will also fight on the show. Her second win came in July, defeating Nora Cornolle via decision.
Michelle Montague will make the turn to pro MMA after an extensive amateur run. She competed as an amateur from 2015 to 2021, including appearances in IMMAF tournaments.
Five-fight pro Martina Jindrova will attempt to snap a two-fight losing streak on the show.
Jeslen Mishelle will be debuting after going undefeated as an amateur, winning all five of her fights.
Olivia Parker is also set to be part of the episode. She has fought in notable promotions Invicta FC and Bellator in the past but is currently on a two-fight skid.
