The long UFC run of Jeremy Stephens has come to an end.
Stephens reportedly parted ways with the promotion recently, per Damon Martin of MMA Fighting. The featherweight reportedly left their roster after his most recent contract came to an end last year.
Stephens’ UFC run has wrapped up following an extensive losing streak. He went winless for the past four years, having lost five fights since 2018.
His last appearance was in July, where Mateusz Gamrot submitted him in just over a minute.
The recent news closes a chapter on Stephens’ career that lasted over a decade and spanned 34 fights in total.
Stephens made his UFC debut in 2007 at UFC 71. He first fought in the UFC as a lightweight but shifted down to featherweight in 2013.
He established himself as a regular for the promotion, appearing at least twice a year from 2007 to 2019.
