Tim Lane, an MMA coach at notable Las Vegas-based gym Xtreme Couture, passed away this week.
Lane, 49, was found dead by police in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on Friday, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Lane was reported missing on Wednesday morning and reportedly wasn’t seen again until authorities confirmed his passing later in the week.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has yet to comment on a cause for the death of Lane.
Eric Nicksick, a coach at Xtreme Couture, addressed Lane’s passing on social media. He said that a large group of people, including himself, went looking for him the morning he was found dead.
“I think the best thing I can say in this situation is all of us were up here looking for him,” said Nicksick in an Instagram video. “I just know that would have been important for him to know. That the Xtreme Couture and MVP family were looking for him and loved him.”
