UFC’s February 26th event has lost a strawweight fight between Jinh Yu Frey and Hannah Goldy, per an announcement made by the promotion Wednesday.
The prelim fight was scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Goldy had to withdraw from the fight due to an illness, per the announcement. It is not known at the moment if Frey will get a new opponent for the event – which is scheduled to take place in three days.
Goldy was set to return after scoring her first UFC win last year, submitting Emily Whitmire via armbar in the first round.
Frey is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, having beat Gloria de Paula and Ashley Yoder last year.
Saturday’s UFC card is now set to be 11 fights in total. In the main event, short-notice opponent Bobby Green will face Islam Makhachev at a catchweight of 160 pounds.
