Nick Maximov’s undefeated UFC run will be tested for the third time on May 14th, as he will face Andre Petroski in a middleweight fight. Damon Martin of MMA Fighting confirmed the matchup on Monday.
UFC’s May 14th “Fight Night” card doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Maximov has scored two wins since joining the UFC roster last year. His debut came in September, where he went three rounds against Cody Brundage for a decision win.
Maximov most recently fought just earlier this month, where he secured a split decision victory against Punahele Soriano.
Maximov’s record is a flawless eight wins and no losses since he turned pro in 2018.
Petroski fought on UFC’s most recent season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” getting eliminated in the semi-final portion of the bracket. He joined the UFC roster after this, debuting in August 2021.
Petroski has scored two stoppage wins over the past year, defeating Michael Gillmore and Hu Yaozong.
