A strawweight fight between Amanda Ribas and Michelle Waterson has been moved to UFC’s May 7th pay-per-view event, per reports.
The fight, which was originally booked for March 26th, is now expected to happen at UFC 274 two months later, per Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
The plan is for UFC 274 to take place in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, as revealed in a recent interview from UFC President Dana White.
The fight is set to be Waterson’s first appearance in just under a year. Her last appearance was in May 2021, where she lost a unanimous decision to Marina Rodriguez.
Ribas bounced back from her sole UFC loss in her last outing, defeating Virna Jandiroba at UFC 267 in October 2021.
