Bellator 276 Veteran Matchup Between Derek Anderson and Goiti Yamauchi

This weekend’s Bellator event is scheduled to proceed as 11 bouts in total following the loss of a prelim fight.

A lightweight bout between veteran fighters Derek Anderson and Goiti Yamauchi has been removed from Saturday’s prelims, per a report from John Morgan of The Underground.

The fight was scheduled to take place at The Family Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

It is not known at the moment why this fight was removed from the card. The bout was scheduled to be a pairing between two very experienced fighters in the promotion.

Yamauchi has competed in Bellator 16 times, and Anderson has appeared in their cage a total of 12 times.

Yamauchi was attempting to ride the momentum of a finish win he scored last year against then-undefeated Chris Gonzalez. On the other hand, Anderson was attempting to come back from a loss he took to Michael Page in May 2021.

Saturday’s Bellator card is currently set to be headlined by featherweights Adam Borics and Mads Burnell.
