Rising flyweights Tracy Cortez and Melissa Gatto will face off at UFC’s May 7th pay-per-view event, per a report from Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes.
The matchup is joining a card that is set to take place at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Both Cortez and Gatto have yet to lose in the UFC cage.
Cortez has scored three wins since her UFC debut in 2019. Her last victory was in April 2021, where she picked up a split decision victory against Justine Kish.
Gatto, an undefeated prospect, won her UFC debut in August 2021 with a doctor stoppage victory over Victoria Leonardo. She then closed out her year with another win, stopping Sijara Eubanks with strikes in December 2021.
UFC 274 currently has a lightweight title fight between Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje set for the main event. Here is how the show looks now:
