Vince Morales Out of March 19th UFC Fight Against Nathaniel Wood

This weekend’s UFC “Fight Night” card is down a fight, as Vince Morales has been pulled from his fight against Nathaniel Wood. The matchup was scrapped from the card due to an undisclosed health issue for Morales, per a report from Al Zullino.

The fight was scheduled to take place on March 19th at the O2 Arena in London, England.

With just one day before the weigh-ins for the event, it is unknown currently if Wood will get a new opponent.

Wood has been out of action for over a year now. He has struggled to get a fight in recent months, with numerous bookings falling through for various reasons.

Wood’s last appearance was in October 2020, when he lost a unanimous decision to Casey Kenney.

Morales was looking to come off a strong 2021 that saw him beat Drako Rodriguez and Louis Smolka.

This weekend’s UFC card is now 12 fights in total. Heavyweights Alexander Volkov and Tom Aspinall are currently set to headline the show.
