RIZIN’s third installment in the “LANDMARK” series has five fights set for it already.

The promotion’s next event, “LANDMARK Vol. 3,” is scheduled to take place on May 5th. The top fight of the card is currently scheduled to be a clash between featherweights Kleber Koike and Kyohei Hagiwara.

Koike, a former KSW Champion, has yet to lose since joining RIZIN in late 2020. He scored his fourth consecutive submission win for the promotion in February, catching Ulka Saski with a rear naked choke in the main event of a “TRIGGER” card.

On the other hand, Hagiwara will be fighting to bounce back from a loss. He had a two-fight winning streak snapped in his last appearance, as Satoshi Yamasu submitted him in the main event of RIZIN 34 in March.

Kuramoto Matched Against Fullswing

Explosive bantamweight Kazuma Kuramoto will return next month for a fight against Uoi Fullswing.

Kuramoto bounced back from his sole RIZIN loss in February, stopping Kenji Kato in the first round of a fight with strikes.

Kuramoto was previously booked to face Kintaro on an April card, but that fight fell through after Kintaro suffered an injury.

Fullswing has been unsuccessful in recent years, losing four of his last five fights. He competed on the last “LANDMARK” show, where Kuya Ito beat him on scorecards.

Seki, Miura, YUSHI Booked

Lower on the card, the return of Kota Miura is expected against Felipe Masoni.

Miura, the son of famous football player Kazuyoshi Miura, made his MMA debut on New Year’s Eve with a finish win against YUSHI. He will now get a significant step-up in competition, as Masoni has 13 fights as a pro.

Masoni will be competing for his first win since 2017. He has fought twice since then, taking two losses.

Regional stand-out Akira Haraguchi will get his RIZIN debut on the card against Tetsuya Seki.

Haraguchi has earned six wins on the regional scene since turning pro in 2019. His last fight was in November 2021, when he beat veteran Caol Uno via decision.

Seki is returning to RIZIN for the third time. His last appearance for the promotion was a stoppage loss against Yoshinori Horie. He has since remained active in DEEP Impact, scoring a win and a loss.

YUSHI, who lost to Miura in December, will also compete on the card. He’s set to meet ZENKI, a fighter who has little information online regarding him.
