Rising middleweight prospects Caio Borralho and Armen Petrosyan have been matched for UFC’s July 9th event. News of the fight was announced recently by the UFC.
It is not known at the moment where UFC’s July 9th show is scheduled to take place at.
Borralho and Petrosyan are being matched up after winning their respective UFC debuts.
Borralho made his UFC debut earlier this week, earning a technical decision win against Gadzhi Omargadzhiev to break their 13-fight undefeated record.
Petrosyan went the distance against former LFA Middleweight Champion Gregory Rodrigues in his UFC debut, winning that bout via split decision.
Both Borralho and Petrosyan joined the UFC roster on the most recent season of “Dana White’s Contender Series.” Borralho’s win was a first-round finish victory against Jesse Murray. Petrosyan also finished his bout in the first, catching Kaloyan Kolev in the first round with strikes.
The main event for UFC’s July 9th show isn’t known at the moment. Here are the four bouts that Knockdown News has reported for the show thus far.
