Two-division ONE Championship titleholder Reinier de Ridder will return at the promotion’s July 22nd card, facing Vitaly Bigdash in a five-round MMA bout.
The fight will take place at ONE 159, as announced Friday. It will see de Ridder put his middleweight (205-pound) belt on the line for the second time since earning it.
De Ridder has been nothing short of unstoppable during his rise up the ONE ranks. He currently has an undefeated record of 15 wins, including six victories in ONE.
De Ridder has become a two-weight class champion in recent years, taking a pair of belts from Aung La N Sang to earn the status.
He has already defended his 205-pound title once, scoring a third-round submission victory over Kiamrian Abbasov in February.
Bigdash will be attempting to regain champion status in the booking. He briefly held a belt in 2017 but dropped it a year later.
Bigdash ended a three-year absence from the cage in late 2021 and has picked up two wins since then.
