Competing for the first time in over two years, Zarah Fairn is expected to face Ailin Perez at UFC’s September 3rd card. The fight will take place in Fairn’s home country, as it is part of the promotion’s debut at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
News of the matchup was confirmed Wednesday by Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.
Fairn will be searching for her first UFC win in the matchup. She was unsuccessful in her first two fights for the promotion, losing to Megan Anderson and Felicia Spencer from 2019 to 2020.
Perez is joining the UFC roster with a record of seven wins and one loss. She has fought as a pro since 2018 and has scored five wins via stoppage since then.
Perez has picked up two victories on the Argentinian regional scene this year already, competing for the Samurai Fight House promotion.
