Brogan Walker Secures ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ Grand Final Spot With Win Over Laura Gallardo

Brogan Walker secured a spot in the grand finals on Season 30 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” defeating Laura Gallardo on this week’s episode of the show.

Walker utilized an overtime round to get the win on the episode that aired Tuesday, going three rounds in total against Gallardo for a unanimous decision win.

Walker led herself to a victory through her sharp striking skills throughout the fight. She was the more active striker in all of the rounds and connected with the cleaner blows.

Gallardo clinched with Walker numerous times during the fight, although she was never able to do much with these positions. On the other hand, Walker often capitalized on these positions by landing knees to the body of Gallardo.

Walker now has two wins under her belt for this season, but the biggest one has yet to come. Walker’s last opponent on the show will be confirmed on the July 19th season finale of “TUF.”

Her first win of the season, a decision victory against Hannah Guy, aired last month.

Gallardo entered the season as a short-notice fighter, stepping in to replace Chantel Coates. She won her quarter-final bout against Kathryn Paprocki during an episode of the show that aired in May.

The second grand final spot for the heavyweight bracket will be confirmed on next week’s episode, as Mohammed Usman and Eduardo Perez will face off. The winner will go on to fight Zac Pauga in the finals at a later date.
