Undefeated welterweight Sean Brady will look to score a big win later this year, facing fellow rising contender Belal Muhammad. That matchup is expected to take place at UFC 281 on October 22nd, per Brett Okamoto of ESPN.
UFC 281 is scheduled to take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Brady has scored five victories since joining the UFC roster in 2019, moving his flawless pro record up to 15 wins in total. His last win came against Michael Chiesa, who he went three rounds against for a unanimous decision victory.
11 months after that win, Brady has a chance to score a victory that could put him in the conversation of the top welterweights in the UFC currently.
Muhammad has not lost in his last eight fights, with seven of those results ending in a win. He scored his first UFC main event win earlier this year, going a total of 25 minutes against Vicente Luque for a unanimous decision victory.
The 34-year-old talent had a productive 2021 before that victory, scoring three wins and one no contest result within a 12-month time period.
The pairing between Brady and Muhammad is the sole bout that has been reported for UFC 281 thus far.
