Bantamweights Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen put their streaks of wins on the line at UFC 250 by facing each other. The fight went like this.
Bout 10: Aljamain Sterling (18-3) vs. Cory Sandhagen (12-1) (Bantamweight)
Sterling caught a leg kick early for a clinch. Still on their feet, Sterling hopped on the back of Sandhagen, trying for a rear naked choke. They went down, where Sterling kept the pressure with the choke. Sandhagen escaped the choke, but Sterling was still on his back. Sterling put the choke back in, this time with the choke going under the chin of Sandhagen. After Sandhagen tapped out and even went in for a minute, the fight ended.
RESULT: Aljamain Sterling def. Cory Sandhagen via Submission, Rear Naked Choke (RD 1, 1:28)
